As a blogger, blogtober is an event that holds a special place in my heart. In 2020, I participated in blogtober for the first time ever. It was also the year that I started my first lifestyle blog. Looking back, I cherish those 31 days of non-stop blogging. Yes, it was hard, especially having to come up with a new topic to write about everyday. But it pushed me to write and to blog. It also got me involved in the wonderful blogging community that exists on WordPress, the platform formally known as Twitter, and beyond.
Because of the great experience that I’ve had with blogtober, I’ve decided to once again participate. I am looking forward to thirty one days of non-stop writing. October is nearly upon us. I wish I could say that I had a plan, but I don’t. And I’m okay with that. I am planning on just going in, and writing whatever, whenever I want. After all, it’s more about getting involved in the community, while having that added bonus of sharpening my writing skills.
So, I’m no newbie to blogtober.
I’ve done this before. And I’m confident that I will write through the month. It’s possible I may skip a few days, depending on my work schedule. But I will try my hardest to write. Even if it’s just a sentence or two, that’s okay. I just want to participate and I feel that blogtober would be the perfect launchpad as I transition back into the blogging world.
If you are reading this and haven’t yet heard of blogtober, I want to educate:

Thanks for the reminder! I totally forgot blogtober is so close already. I’ve been struggling with writer’s block for about a month now and taking a break isn’t helping this time. I guess this is time to give myself a challenge. So yeah, I’ll participate too!
Yay! 🙂
