The Real Reason Why I Started Blogging Again

Blogging is something that I have always enjoyed. It is one of the things that I have always come back to. Like drinking a hot beverage after coming inside from the cold. It is my comfort spot. Not surprising since blogging is associated with the warm, fuzzy feeling of nostalgia for me. I think of blogging and I think of hands to keyboard, typing faster than I can think, willing to get the words out before they run away from me. I think of blogging in its unadulterated state – the way that it was many years ago before reels and tiktoks took over. Blogging was the act of writing to the void, to the vast internet. It didn’t matter if one or a hundred people read it. What mattered was that it was a space to release those feelings and thoughts.

That is one of the things I miss most.

I miss blogging just for the sake of blogging. I miss writing without having to think about choosing the right keyword that matches what the user is searching for.  I miss writing without having to write the title in a way that shows the inherent benefit to the reader. For once, why can’t the blog be about me? Is it selfish to think this, or is it simply nostalgia?

Doesn’t matter. I have decided to blog again.

A little back story: This is the first blog post on this site of mine that has been conjuring in the back of my mind for quite some time.  This site is a place for me to share one of my favorite hobbies – knitting. Here, I will share knitting projects – the ones I am working on, the ones I never finish, and the ones I do complete. I do warn you: I am left handed so the pictures and any patterns will be from the left-handed perspective.

Besides knitting, I live and breathe Instagram, sometimes a little too much. Here on this blog, I will share my thoughts, tips, and tricks on how to grow on Instagram in 2026. I may also share updates of my life – books I am reading, places I am visiting, random thoughts on my mind.

Be warned: some of the blogs may be optimized for SEO, others will not.

Until next time.
